Hello, my name is Kim Gingell, and I am living with Stage 4 terminal cancer. There is no cure. Treatment is considered palliative. While I continue treatments to manage symptoms and maintain as much strength as I’m able, my focus is on spending meaningful time with my daughter during the time I have left.

The truth is, the financial burden is overwhelming. Between mounting debts, interest, medications, transportation costs for appointments, and daily living expenses, the stress is constant and exhausting.

My daughter, who is disabled herself, has lovingly taken on the role of my full-time caregiver. She has been by my side every day. We are now fighting not just cancer, but the possibility of losing our home — the one place where we feel safe together.
