Update as of 11/15: Thank you so much to everyone who has donated. I held my boy until his heart stopped beating and he is now resting peacefully.

Hi friends. I recently learned that my 11 year old dog, Jango Fett, has cancer in his prostate/bladder and tumors that have already metastasized in his lungs. Unfortunately this is not something he will recover from.

To be completely transparent, I have no idea how much time he has left because it’s different for every dog but it could be anywhere from a couple of months to a year if I’m lucky. So far I’ve spent $650 on testing and going forward he will need medication to attempt to reduce the size of the tumor in his prostate/bladder area, follow up testing after starting medication, I’ll have to treat any other complications/physical ailments that start to come up as a result of his condition, and I’m preparing in advance for the cost of euthanasia/cremation when the time comes.

Other than that my only goal is to make the last months of his life as happy as possible so anything additional will be funding lots of special meals & treats. I’ve had him his whole life so he is already spoiled, but any support is appreciated to make my boy feel extra loved before he leaves us.
