Palliative Care and Treatment

Hi.

My name is Sam Swan.

Next year (6th and 7th July) I am running the Peak District Ultra Marathon (62.14 miles) I'm hoping to raise as much money as possible, with all funds going to the Palliative Care Unit at The Royal Liverpool Hospital.

In July 2021 I lost my dad after he spent ten days in intensive care and a short time in Palliative care at this hospital.

I will forever be thankful for the staff and the care and dignity they showed my dad, and in his memory, I would love to give back to the work that happens here. All funds will go towards both care and treatment.
