Hello!

My name is Pallavi Davé and I am a multi-disciplinary artist, designer and entrepreneur based in London. Through my work, I aim to find solutions to reduce the negative environmental impact of the creative and entertainment industries.

I have been selected by eXXpedition, who run ocean-focused research missions to tackle plastic pollution, to join their upcoming voyage in Tonga in June 2026 and am raising money to fund my place on the trip.

I will be joining the crew with 13 other women from across the world, in the South Pacific, sailing and working to collect world-class data from the planet’s most remote waters, mapping the sources and scale of plastic pollution and putting it in the hands of those who can use it.

Along with the science, we will be collecting stories, sharing films, photography and first-hand accounts that bring hidden places into view and inspire action on the right solutions.

We will connect with the plastic crisis and discover our unique role in tackling it. Returning home equipped with the tools, knowledge and belief to drive change in our work and communities.

At eXXpedition we lead ocean research missions to help people truly connect with the plastic crisis and discover their unique role in tackling it.

Founded by ocean advocate Emily Penn, we take people to sea to witness the plastic problem first-hand, contribute to groundbreaking scientific research and bring back stories that inspire change.

On board, our multinational, multidisciplinary all-women crews connect with the ocean and with each other in ways that change them forever. Back on land, they carry the experience into their work and communities, creating a ripple effect of change in how the world tackles plastic pollution.
