Palisades Cyclones MTB Team

The Palisades Cyclones Composite Mountain Bike Team is a Bergen County middle and high school program which draws from every school in northeastern Bergen County. Our team participates in New Jersey’s National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA) league, which in its 1st year has over 100 student-athletes throughout the state. In our inaugural year, we have added 14 student-athletes to the team, doubling what we expected, which shows that clearly kids want to ride bikes in the woods with their friends and families.



The Cyclone’s primary focus is to be a “Youth Development Program”:
·      Inclusivity - no bench warmers, every finisher counts
·      Equality - no try-outs, everyone rides
·      Strong Body – lifelong fitness and good health start here
·      Strong Mind - NICA student-athletes are students first
·      Strong Character - work hard, play fair, respect others and the community



We are looking for financial assistance to help provide a great team experience for the student-athletes, so that we can not only grow the team, but grow the sport in Bergen County, New Jersey. Your dollars will go towards team equipment, tools, as well as helping to cover some of the fees associated with training and coaching (indoor cycling studio, gym fees, etc.) A complete budget available upon request.
