Palisades Fires: A Mother's Heartbreak

This is day 180 since Rory transitioned & everything burnt down. I just wanted to thank all 25 of you for being so kind when I was at rock bottom before I close this fund. Your donations totaling $1950 helped me in the first few weeks when banks couldn’t identify me & I had no money for food, petrol & basics after I had left the safety of friends.

Since then I have removed the rubble & replaced the greenhouse & putting green & flags ready for Rory’s memorial this month. The main property ruble has finally been removed by the Army corp. I’m still waiting for the insurance to pay out so we can start to rebuild. Living in the greenhouse without power & water has & is a challenge yet I’m here with my 2 peacocks healing with the land & working each day to make this place beautiful again.
