Our 3rd annual food drive for Ramadan 2021 is here!
Last Ramadan 2020, we took on an initiative to delegate a food drive for the Yemen food famine, as we (Alhamdulillah) raised $6131 (providing 100's of meals to the families suffering). In 2019, we managed to raise over $2200, creating 100 care packages consisting of socks, toothbrushes/pastes, food, and water bottles (remaining funds were donated towards Palestine/Yemen Relief via Islamic Relief).
This Ramadan, we are embarking on a different vision with higher goals in mind. Our goal this year is to raise $7500 for our Muslim brothers and sisters in Palestine through the Islamic Relief Canada Palestine Appeal, and we need your help!
The ongoing conflicts in Palestine have led to over 60,000 casualties, deriving from malnourishment, displacement from families, and bombings.
Let's do what we can this Ramadan and help those in need.
