Hola, soy Salvador, documentalista independiente, y desde hace 8 años estoy trabajando en un proyecto profundamente personal llamado Palaxtli.

Este documental nace de una pregunta que muchos llevamos en el corazón:
¿Por qué vivimos divididos entre lo indígena y lo español?
Y más aún…
¿Cómo podemos sanar esa herida no reconocida que atraviesa nuestra identidad como mexicanos?

Palaxtli no es solo una película. Es una búsqueda.
Una peregrinación a través de la historia, los símbolos, las culturas vivas, los silencios y las voces que todavía resisten.
He recorrido sitios sagrados, he conversado con sabios, sanadoras, historiadores y psicoterapeutas, buscando el alma profunda de México.

Estoy terminando las últimas entrevistas —en lugares tan significativos como Chalcatzingo y sitios olmecas—, y me encuentro en la etapa final del rodaje.
Ahora necesito tu apoyo para poder hacer un primer corte de edición que me permita postular el proyecto a fondos nacionales e internacionales, y así completar la postproducción.

Mi meta es terminar el documental a finales de 2026, con la calidad visual y sonora que este tema merece.

Sé que no todos están de acuerdo con que uno pida apoyo de esta manera, y lo comprendo.
Pero creo que hay proyectos que nos trascienden, y caminos que no se pueden recorrer solos.
Pedir con humildad también es parte del proceso.

Por eso hoy te invito, con el corazón abierto, a sumarte a este esfuerzo.

Hi, I'm Salvador, an independent filmmaker, and for the past 8 years I’ve been working on a deeply personal documentary called Palaxtli.

This project was born from a question many of us carry inside:
Why do we live divided — between the Indigenous and the Spanish?
And more importantly…
How can we begin to heal that unspoken wound that lives in our collective identity as Mexicans?

Palaxtli is not just a film. It's a journey.
A pilgrimage through history, living traditions, silence, memory, and the symbols that still breathe in the soul of this land.

I’m now finishing the last interviews — in sacred places like Chalcatzingo and ancient Olmec sites — and entering the final stage of filming.
I need your support to complete a first rough cut, so I can submit it to funding opportunities and carry the project into full post-production.

My goal is to complete the documentary by the end of 2026, with the depth and visual quality this story deserves.

I understand that some people may not agree with asking for support this way — and I respect that.
But I believe there are projects that are bigger than one person… and paths that are not meant to be walked alone.
Asking with humility is also part of the journey.
