Palatine Families Homeless Due to Horrible Fire

Hello, My Name is Sonia.

I am very connected to this neighborhood and am asking for help. Not only did I grow up here but I still know many of these residents. Insurance companies for these poor families are slow and not helping right away.

They have been staying at local hotels and have lost so much and are in a state of confusion. Local hotels arent providing free spaces either.

Redcross is onsite but hasn't fully figured out a place for these families with kids, elderly parents, senior families and their pets where to go. Please if you can I am looking to help with Hotel costs until further notice. This horrible fire could take months if not have permanent effects on these families. My heart hurts knowing how damaging this is going to be and how worried these families are about their homes.

Please help. Anything helps.
