Navy Veteran in desperate need after terrible accident

I feel like giving up. This year has been awful. I spent all that i had saved, 4000, on repairs for the car, and then I total the effin thing. That vehicle was my lifeblood, it was how I made money. I've been job hunting, and had a few interviews out of the 100 I've applied to. But it appears no one wants to hire an old man. I'll be 59 on the 17th of December. And now I'm down to 3 dollars with very little food in the cupboard. All of this makes it difficult to motivate myself anymore. It just seems like it's over. The only thing keeping me going is my dog Buddy and the love of a few good friends. Still, I'm all alone here in Tucson. No family or friends. Which makes it even tougher to go on.
