Robin Hergert's Breast Cancer Fund

Our dear friend Robin was just diagnosed with breast cancer at the end of July, right before her 50th birthday. Robin has a tough road ahead. The tumor is over 5cm, so the doctors have suggested for her to do chemotherapy first in an effort to shrink the tumor before her double mastectomy surgery. Robin's family is feeling very overwhelmed and we wanted to put together this GoFundMe to ensure that the Hergert family can focus on Robin's health and not the financial strain it will create. Robin is a full time manager at Starbucks, which is a job that she LOVES! Robin is going to be decreasing her hours at work to get through chemo, but has every intention to keep working! The next 12 months will cost the Hergerts $19,400 in out of pocket expenses. Robins loss of income will be $12,500. Her total out of pocket medical expenses will be $4,500. To give Dean the ability to be at some of Robins doctor appointments and chemo treatments, he will need to take a couple days off a month which will cost $2,400.
Robin is a light in so many lives in our Newberg community and the Starbucks community. Robin loves with her whole heart! Robin gives so much, this is our opportunity to show her how much we all love and support her.
