Paityn Lightner Support-Medical

Paityn Lightner, one of the 1 year old twin daughters of Tyler & Kendra (Silverthorne) Lightner has been in the hospital in Helena since Friday February  17th.  In the early morning of Monday February 20th, our Paityn was "Mercy Flown" to St. Vincent's Pediatric ICU in Billings, MT where she is now; this way she has 24/7 access to a Pediatric Pulmonologist for her weak and sick little lungs.  Our little miss Paityn is not new to lung issues... This is Paityn's 3rd hospital stay since her and her twin sister's, Sophia, preemie births in August, 2015.  After they were born, they were hospitalized in the Missoula NICU due to being premature. Then, a few months after Paityn was home she aspirated and was hospitalized again in Helena for becoming unresponsive due to stopping breathing.  This time she has RSV which turned to a significant case of Aspiration Pneumonia in both her little lungs. We thought she was on the mend and then continually became worse  until they had to send her for more specialized care than we can manage in Helena, and now is in Billings. We need the help of all our amazing family and friends to help support Kendra and Tyler financially through this scary time, with two sick girls, one extremely sick, being pregnant, unable to work due to being in Billings AND being far from family and their supports...they need our help and this is a good way for our family and friends to "help" and help relieve stress on this little family.  Kendra, a RN, is pregnant with their 3rd child, due in mid-june. Nether Kendra nor Tyler can work as they are all suffering the costs of being in Billings, 3 1/2 hours from their hometown of Helena. AND there is still little miss Sopia in Billings with them...this is A LOT to balance. Sophia is also sick and thankfully has not needed hospitalization, but still needs breathing treatments, is missing her twin sister and needs lots of TLC.  I cannot say enough about the amazing parents that Tyler and Kendra are, so proud of these two, it's beyond words, their committment to eachother and their young little family! Our sweetheart Paityn, she is 18 months old and she is a girl with a heart that is equally strong and sweet, she is an amazing little girl, so smart, curious and  such grace, she has such a gentle and kind heart that is rare in people, let alone wrapped up in an 18 month old baby girl.
