Over the past decade, I have dedicated my life to documenting sport and sporting culture across the world through live painting.

Sport is one of the most powerful cultural forces on earth, shaping us and our experience of life. Whether it is a football stadium alive with chants and songs, a cricket ground carrying generations of history, a baseball ballpark filled with tradition, or communities gathering around emerging and local sports, these shared experiences connect people across borders, languages, and backgrounds.

Through live painting, I travel internationally to capture sport as it happens — preserving not only the action on the field, but the atmosphere, identity, and emotion surrounding each event. My work focuses on the human side of sport: supporters, rituals, architecture, landscapes, and the cultural meaning that exists long after the final whistle or last play.

Over the course of this journey, I have painted sporting events and venues across over 25 countries and more than 150 stadiums and arenas, working across baseball, cricket, football, and many other sports worldwide. From globally recognised venues to developing sporting communities, my aim is to document how sport reflects the character of each place and its people.

This work has grown into an ongoing international project — creating a visual archive of global sporting culture through art. Many of these moments are temporary and unrepeatable. Once a match ends, the atmosphere disappears, yet these experiences form an important part of cultural history worth preserving.

Unlike traditional studio-based art, documenting sport in this way requires continuous travel, materials, access, and time spent immersed within different sporting environments. Much of this work is independently driven, supported by those who believe in the importance of recording sport’s cultural impact across the world.
