Dee was in a hit and run car accident which has had a devastating effect on her life.

Many people have accidents and recover easily, others maintain some degree of injury but still manage to get on with their life in a relatively normal fashion.
For Dee neither of these outcomes was the case. Dee suffered irreparable damage as a result of the car accident. She has trauma on the left side of her face; a bone lies over a major nerve and creates throbbing pain constantly.
Dee also has bone trauma and has endured many dental losses, which require expert medical attention
Effectively Dee is in a pretty bad way and due to the fact that the accident was a hit and run – Dee has not been in a position to claim her medical expenses on the drivers insurance.
Dee really needs your help to get expert medical treatment including maxillofacial work, dental repairs and implants and medication to help her through this harrowing time.
About Dee
Dee is an animal loving caring person. She always has a kind word and a positive thing to say to anybody that crosses her path.
As a child Dee suffered serious illness, which left her with a lung condition, breathing problems and allergies. Regardless of this Dee continued to love life and was a very active person.
Dee has always loved animals and in fact has taken in many stray cats helping them to get adopted and re-housed, despite being allergic to cats.
Now with her present condition this is something that Dee has to give up and she is still looking at placing 9 cats in her care, into new homes.
Dee is very private and this campaign is actually put together by friends and family who love and support her.
Dee never complains or moans despite being in serious pain and not having the funds to pay for treatment. We, her family, are extremely concerned, and have watched Dee deteriorated rapidly and we want to do all we can to help Dee to recover and have a good quality of life once again.
Medical Expenses
Through this campaign we are trying to raise over $300,000 to get Dee’s recovery started, and although it won’t solve all of her troubles, it will certainly go a long way to improving her physical and medical condition.
One surgeon alone quoted over $70,000 for the maxillofacial work, 4 dentist all quoted between $60,000 and $150,000 and with the added medication and additional treatment Dee will need a lot of financial support to get through this.
This money will cover the cost of Dee seeing a specialist to undergo surgery for her face and bone trauma, and get the dental work done, which will relieve the constant migraine headaches, speech impediment and avoid the permanent damage, which could be possible if she doesn’t receive treatment soon.
The Goal
Through this campaign we want to raise just $285,000. This will cover the cost of Dee’s most urgent surgeries and help her with an assistant during recovery and to get started with her life again. Our first goal is $25,400 to get it started ... please help if you possibly can.
