Hey everyone, my name is Ciarra, and I am Ric's daughter. Unfortunately, early this morning, we lost my Dad to lung cancer. He was diagnosed at the beginning of January 2022. This cancer was vicious and fast.

We are in an absolute state of shock losing such a wonderful human being. Those of you who know Ric know that he has been a staple in the downtown Camas community since he opened his tattoo shop in 1988. His shop is the longest-running tattoo shop in Clark County, and he has won countless awards throughout his career. I know he has touched so many lives through his art of tattoo.

My father's pride and joy has been his tattoo shop, Painless Ric's. It has made it through a recession and Covid-19. Before his passing, my father asked me to take over Painless Ric's, and I am ready to keep his legacy going. We are asking family, friends, and the community to help keep Painless Ric's open. Using the money will help us come up with a plan in the long term to keep his business thriving.
