Pain Treatment for Tristen
Donation protected

Tristen is a queer autistic Ts'msyen community/social services worker, artist, and musician.
Tristen is one of my most cherished friends. Despite what has been an immensely difficult and trying year, Tristen has been consistent, loving, and supportive to everyone around him. He deserves the world, and more.
Because of Tristen’s health profile, he needs a comprehensive assessment at a pain clinic to access diagnosis and multidisciplinary therapies. The assessment for such treatment costs $3500; the therapies would cost an additional $2000. With the high cost of living in the lower mainland, student loan debt, and his current salary, this amount would put Tristen into further debt. Without such treatment, Tristen would continue to struggle with chronic pain for which many typically prescribed medical treatments are ineffective.
Today is Christmas and it’s also Tristen’s birthday. To celebrate him and to organize healthcare access for him, I’m hoping to raise $5000 by the beginning of Lunar New Year, the Year of the Tiger (February 1st).
Thank you so much for your support. <3
