My name is Krystha and the man in the picture is my father Bruce.  All of his life he has lived it to the fullest through good and bad..sometimes more bad than good. My dad has always been a very selfless man and would give the last he had for someone that needed it more than him and take the shirt off his own back. Bruce has always lived a very active, eventful, and limitless life full of friends and family. Working for a Transition Center rehibilitating previous inmates and even before then, Bruce was helping everyone inside and out of work...donating to multiple charities, founding charities, and organizing chairties for adults and children. He absolutely loves people, making people laugh, and being able to do what he does best. Within the last 4 yrs he hasnt been able to do what he does best, living an active/limitless life, giving to and organizing charities, just living life to the fullest, or even getting out of his now way of getting around..a wheel chair (that he absolutely hates!).  My dad has a progressive neurological disease that effects his nerves, and not only that but his brain as well. Everyday things such as writing, speaking, and remembering things are a huge task..espacially for someone who thinks they're a super hero :]..and for most people..he is. This year Bruce had to quit his job that he put so much of his pride into and now is at his home 24/7. His wife Beth / our mom goes to work everyday and is trying to provide for the house and take care of him.. which is very hard for one person especially with amounts of medical bills on top of it. My dad and the whole family are aiming to find something that can help him get better or as least stop the progression of his disease... a lot of doctors visits and testing. The money will be used as we find more specialists and the need to travel out of state to see one.  We have already gone to the Mayo Clinic in Seattle on multiple occasions with minimal success,  so are in the process of finding more promising treatment options. Everyone would be so blessed and thankful if we could alleviate any of his pain, sadness, feeling of defeat, and losing his sense of who he is. This has been going on for nearly 5 years and he refuses to give up but his years are shortened..so as quickly as we can find some answers and a resolution for him..the quicker he will be able to live his life again... or in his words " I am not going anywhere". Any help we can get will never go unappreciated, every dollar for his health is the most important...every second with him is the most important. Just being able to feel alive, wrestle and play with his grandkids, love and squish on everyone is the most important to him. Thank you for reading and I hope you have a great day and a chance to change the people in your life as well! :]
