College Thesis Film : "Tell Me"

In anticipation of my college graduation in February 2020, I am currently writing my thesis. As an acting major, my thesis requirements are to write, produce and star in a short film.  (then we have to write a 20-page paper :) )This is an opportunity to not only use all of the education I have acquired in the past 3 years but also to write my own material.  This story is my heart, my words, and my vision.

The logline of my film is: Lauren, a new mom, battles her desire to be perfect with her reality of being human. 

In addition to studying acting, I have been producing and Assistant Directing short films for the past three years.  I could not be more excited to watch a story and a character of my creation develop from a concept into a short film. 

My crew is complied of amazing talent and mostly NYFA graduates.  We learn together, we grow together, we succeed together. The team that I have put together for my film are people that I hope to work with for the rest of my life.  I have also selected a mostly female crew.  I believe in female talent in the industry and the ability to create my own film and I have received so much interest from people wanting to work on this film and I am still in awe.

We shoot November 16th, 2019. The premiere screening of my film will be on the Warner Brothers Studio Lot in Burbank, CA! Following the premiere screening in January 2020, this film will be submitted to festivals across the world. 

The New York Film Academy will provide us with a small camera and lights package but I will need to supplement some equipment which is why I need your help!  A location alone is over $1000.00
