Paige's Ovarian Cancer Quiz night

Almost a year ago to the day, I was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer, stage 3 and my world was turned upside down.
Thankfully, after a major operation and 5 months of chemotherapy, I am now in remission but for some of the 1,500 women a year who are diagnosed with this silent killer, they are not so lucky. Ovarian cancer has a survival rate of only 43%, a harrowing statistic.
So, I am holding a Quiz night to raise funds for Cancer.
Half of all proceeds raised will go towards supporting the great work of Ovarian Cancer Australia as there is no early diagnostic test for Ovarian Cancer and that’s why we need to support this group. The other half will go to Cancer Council SA as they were instrumental in helping me and many other men and women struggling with the side effects of chemotherapy by providing cleaning services and counselling, so there continued success is vital.
The Quiz night will be held at the Jade, 142 Flinders St, Adelaide on Friday, 5 May 2017. Tickets are $20 per person and the tables seat six people.

Drinks are at the bar and attendees are welcome to bring their own supper/picnic. There will also be a Cambodian food hut selling delicious food. It will be a fun filled night full of surprises!!
