Hey everyone! My name's Paige. I’m looking to raise money for a medical procedure. Roughly 5 years ago, I broke my jaw. I had surgery to wire my mouth shut. I dealt with that for a month, and that was that. Unfortunately, I’m left with a constant click in my jaw every time it moves. I’ve been diagnosed with TMJ disorder, as well as landing myself in the ER for severe pain. That trip was what made everything click in my head, as I was told I’m experiencing “Subluxation.” If you don’t know what that is, to sum it up, every time my jaw moves and I hear that click, it’s my jaw partially dislocating. I was told to take care of it as soon as possible to avoid my jaw completely dislocating itself and landing me in emergency surgery. I have contacted my doctor, and as far as I know, there are only 2 places that work with what I’m going through. I was told one place accepts my insurance, and one place doesn’t. Obviously, I took the referral for the place that takes my insurance, as I’m not financially in a place to pay for these services that I need. Fast forward to 03/07/2025 - I get the call from

the oral surgeon wanting to schedule with me. My hopes and dreams were shattered as I was told my insurance is out of range for them, meaning I’d be left to pay out of pocket. Unfortunately, the consultation itself will run $400, and the operation can be anywhere from $150-$1400 depending on the route that’s chosen. I am left with no options, and I fear the day I experience that full dislocation. Thanks to everyone who chooses to help, or at least takes the time to read my story.
