Paige’s Road to Recovery (Struck on Motorcycle)
Donation protected
On 9/13, Paige went for a motorcycle ride in Dayton. A little after 6pm, she was going through a green light at the speed limit and was struck by a car. She landed 30 feet away from her bike, which was recovered in two pieces. The driver of the car is unlicensed and uninsured. The impact of this accident left Paige with severe, long-lasting injuries.
“I flipped in the air and have 14 broken bones (including ribs, an open tib fib fracture and spine fractures), hemopneumothorax (collapsed lung with blood in the chest cavity), and have underwent surgery for leg reconstruction. I had another surgery to recontruct my collar bone which was in four pieces. I am so grateful that I was wearing my gear because I had a spine protector on and my helmet, which saved my life. The responding fire engine and medic had to switch out with each other on scene because they were gagging/crying and trying not to throw up looking at my leg.” -Paige
Paige is facing a long and challenging road to recovery, including multiple surgeries, extensive rehabilitation, and ongoing medical care. As we navigate this difficult journey, we are also confronting the significant financial burden of her medical expenses and legal costs related to the accident.
We are asking for your support to help cover these unexpected costs. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference in helping Paige receive the care she needs and aid in her recovery process. Your generosity will not only help ease the financial strain but also provide Paige with the emotional support she needs during this challenging time. We could not do it without the support of friends and family, so thank you all! Wishing for the speediest recovery for our sister Paigey ❤️
Thank you so much!
