Paige is 24 years old with terminal Brain Cancer!

Our beautiful Paige Rowe is 24 years old. Unfortunately at the age of 18, Paige was diagnosed with brain cancer and underwent extensive surgery and chemotherapy to try and combat this dreadful disease. She has spent the last few years in remission and trying to live her life to the fullest. Paige threw herself into a nursing degree and was only 6 weeks from graduating when she was dealt another cruel blow.
During a recent surveillance scan, it was discovered that Paige’s brain cancer had returned. After multiple aggressive surgeries a few weeks ago, the surgeons removed the tumours and believed they had successfully removed it all. Paige was awaiting the commencement of her chemotherapy when she was admitted to hospital with meningitis which caused swelling on her brain. A shunt was inserted into her spine to reduce the fluid build up.
Devastatingly, last week, Paige and her family were given the heartbreaking news that another tumour had already grown and her cancer has been upgraded to a stage 4 Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM) and unfortunately it is inoperable and she is now terminal.
Paige has been given only 12 months to live.
Paige will commence aggressive chemotherapy in the coming weeks which will unfortunately make her quite ill, but will hopefully slow down the growth of the new tumour and give her family a bit more time with their girl!
As I’m sure you can understand, the whole family is just devastated but Paige being the optimist, took the news very well. She is ready to fight this disease with everything she has, but she also wants to live her days to the fullest and enjoy the time she has, spending quality time with her family and friends.
We have been asked by many friends, family members and strangers how they can help......well this is it!
