Help our helper get transportation- car for Paige

(Updated- I apologize for the confusing story I wrote the first time- I did it at 3 am and should have waited to publish it because I had cancer brain and was in a fuzz- it did not explain the fundraiser appropriately.)
I’m Amanda, stage 4 kidney cancer fighter…. ROUND 2 started in 2020.
I’m running this fundraiser to acquire a vehicle for our daughter- our main helper who needs her own transportation. Fighting cancer isn’t just hard- it’s exhausting, expensive, and extremely time consuming. Since my second diagnosis, doctor appointments have been scheduled with less and less time between one another, additional tests have been scheduled and problems I didn’t think were problems became problems because of cancer and treatments… resulting in even more appointments. Most recently, my planner is filled with 2-3 appointments PER DAY leaving me with little to no time and/or energy to get daily jobs done, or to get personal chores done. Sometimes we just need a helper to run errands, pick up kids, grocery shop, grab prescriptions, fill out paperwork somewhere, stop at the bank, drop off records… etc. Mark works full time and often overtime now that I am unable to work at all. Disability payments won’t begin for months so of course, money is extremely tight. It’s painful to have literally just lost almost half our household income! (Don’t get me wrong, we are extremely blessed to have the family and friend support system we do. And we are very lucky to have been gifted so many vacations- those are memory makers and anyone who knows me knows all too well that vacations are my number one thing to look forward to- always have something on the books to look forward to. They benefit my soul and keep me positive… and they give our family R&R, unique experiences and unforgettable happy memories that will last us all a lifetime.) With multiple children, two dogs and a parent also fighting cancer… our family simply needs that third vehicle. While this vehicle will primarily be Paige’s, our college girl, when Piper and Faith become licensed, it will ultimately be all of theirs to share.
Please, if you have some dollars to spare, donate to this cause- this will absolutely help alleviate some of the stress we, as a family, carry.
THANK YOU.
