Paige Kelly Memorial in Support of her Children
This page is dedicated to our dear friend Paige Sammons Kelly who passed away on October 29, 2020, at 49. Paige leaves behind two children, Griffin (12) and Phoebe (12) and in celebration of her life we ask those that can, to donate to her children's 529 College Savings Accounts. We have set a goal of $10,000 which will be evenly split between Griffin and Phoebe and deposited into accounts set up on their behalf. While Paige may not be here to see them achieve their goals, with the support of her friends and colleagues, we can help make sure that the financial burden of her passing does not impact their future.

February 17, 1971 - October 29, 2020
It is with a very heavy heart that we write this tribute to Paige.
Paige grew up in Castro Valley and graduated from UC Davis with a degree in International Relations and a minor in Textile Science and Marketing. She spent time in Atlanta to be part of the excitement of the 1996 Olympic games and eventually returned to San Francisco, settling back in Castro Valley, to raise her two children, Griffin and Phoebe. Paige had a 20 year career at Charles Schwab before pursuing her passion of library science. Always with a book in her hand and a smile on her face, Paige loved her time working as a children's librarian in Castro Valley.
But Paige was more than her accomplishments, she was a loving, caring friend and mother, and someone you always wanted on your side. Her sense of adventure and willingness to try anything, once, made her your first choice for everything, and her self-awareness and willingness to listen but not judge, made her the first person you went to for advice.
Paige would have turned 50 this year. She would have watched her children become teenagers and would have embarked on a new chapter professionally within library sciences. Her passing was too soon and she left behind countless friends and colleagues who will miss her tremendously and wonder where they will go now to get their next sport tip or book recommendation. She was one of kind, a very special person who we loved dearly and miss daily.
