Paige Dearden organized the students, parents and staff at Vichy Elementary School in Napa each Christmas season for the past 25 plus years, to raise funds for families in need.  These families had the major breadwinner in the household adversely affected by a medical condition that caused them to stop working.  Food, gifts for the children and gift cards for up to 8 families were distributed at this time of year.  We would love to honor Paige's memory by raising funds for this very needy cause.  The photo above includes the leadership students from Vichy, Paige, Addie and some other Vichy alums from 2016 taken at Community Outreach.

Tomorrow, we will provide gift cards to Community Outreach in the amount of:  $8,500.00.  They specified that this will provide food and gifts to:
12 Families will receive $200 each in Target gift cards and $200 each in Wal Mart gift cards.
37 Individuals (mostly Seniors) will receive $100 gift cards for Wal Mart.
None of the gift cards can be used for alcohol or tobacco products.
On New Year's Eve, we will provide a hot meal from Il Posto in Napa to roughly 37 individuals who would otherwise not have dinner.
The balance of the money will be donated to:  Queen of the Valley/Community Outreach (Paige Dearden Memorial) and used to provide emergency meals or supplies to families in need during the 2021 year and at the holiday season.
