Riley has been with me since he was just 8 weeks old. He’s more than just a dog ,he’s my heart, my best friend, and truly my soul dog.

For the past 8 years, Riley has been by my side through everything. He’s brought me so much joy, comfort, and unconditional love. Anyone who knows him knows how special he is. He’s goofy, full of personality, and constantly making people laugh. He’s sweet, kind, and has the purest soul.

Recently, Riley was diagnosed with apocrine gland adenocarcinoma, a malignant cancer found in his anal gland. The tumor was removed surgically, but unfortunately, the pathology report showed the margins weren’t clean, meaning some cancerous cells may still remain. There’s a risk it could spread to other parts of his body.

His veterinary team has recommended chemotherapy as the next step to give him the best possible chance at a longer, healthier life. The estimated cost is $5,638, which is more than what we can do alone but we’re doing everything we can to fight for him.
