Story

So about a year ago I started writing this play. It all started from a song I heard Christmas night and it just snowballed from there. At first it was just a concept, a scene I couldn't manage to knock out of my head, it just lingered around like a friend who's overstayed their welcome. It took a little over a year to finally throw it all up on paper and a few more days to extract typos - legend has it that some are still there.I've managed to assemble a few readings in people's homes and a couple legitimate theatre venues but now I want to take the next step and bring it to the Hollywood Fringe Festival this year for a full-fledged production. However, the problem is - as it always will be until the day this blue dot stops turning or at least until the Orange Guy convinces another nation to nuke us - money. Registration and venue fees are far beyond my ability to pay for. Granted, me and my collaborator friend who are headstrong on pushing this show can manage to cough up some dough but it wouldn't be enough. So that's where you come in. Any amount you can give will go towards this production. Hopefully if this production does ultimately go through, all the ticket proceeds will go towards social justice organizations such as Planned Parenthood and the ACLU.That's that.
