Thursday evening Mike was leaving work when a car pulled out and did not see him riding his motorcycle. Mike was wearing his helmet however he sustained severe injuries to his head, including dispersed bleeding and swelling to his brain (traumatic brain injury- TBI). Mike is currently in the ICU and has a long road of recovery ahead of him. We are hoping to get him to a skilled rehab for young patients with TBIs once he is stabilized and discharged from the hospital. Prayers are always appreciated and anything helps for his journey to recovery.
