Hola, mi nombre es Bruno, y hoy recurro a ustedes con el corazón en la mano para pedir ayuda para mi padrastro, quien fue detenido injustamente por ICE el miércoles 16 de diciembre.

Mi padrastro tiene 69 años y llegó a Estados Unidos en el año 2015 en busca de una vida segura y digna, luego de haber sido perseguido por el gobierno venezolano, una situación que lamentablemente sigue vigente hasta el día de hoy.

Él ingresó legalmente al país con una visa de turismo y, antes de que venciera su estadía, solicitó asilo político, cumpliendo en todo momento con lo que dicta la ley de inmigración. Desde entonces, ha seguido su proceso de manera responsable, transparente y respetuosa, siempre confiando en el sistema legal.

El día de su detención el 16 de diciembre del 2025, alrededor de 8 agentes de ICE lo arrestaron y se lo llevaron, sin que exista ninguna orden de deportación en su contra. Esta situación nos tomó completamente por sorpresa, ya que él asistió a su cita de inmigración hace aproximadamente un año y medio y desde entonces ha estado esperando una respuesta por parte de USCIS, la cual hasta la fecha no ha llegado. Todo esto ha causado un profundo impacto emocional en nuestra familia.

Mi padrastro no tiene antecedentes penales. En su historial únicamente figura una multa por exceso de velocidad, la cual fue debidamente pagada, asumiendo plenamente la responsabilidad de su acción.

Él es un padre de familia ejemplar, un hombre de valores sólidos, querido por todos los que lo conocen. Es una persona trabajadora y responsable, que actualmente tiene dos empleos, y todo lo que ha logrado lo ha construido con esfuerzo, honestidad y amor por su familia y amigos.

Ama profundamente a sus hijos y siempre ha sido un pilar fundamental para nosotros. Hoy, su libertad y bienestar están en riesgo, y necesitamos tu apoyo para cubrir los gastos legales, honorarios de abogados y todo lo necesario para defender su caso y demostrar su elegibilidad para permanecer legalmente en el país.

Hello, my name is Bruno, and today I am reaching out with my heart in my hands to ask for help for my stepfather, who was wrongfully detained by ICE on Wednesday, December 16.

My stepfather is 69 years old and arrived in the United States in 2015 in search of a safe and dignified life after being persecuted by the Venezuelan government, a situation that unfortunately continues to this day.

He entered the country legally with a tourist visa and, before his authorized stay expired, applied for political asylum, fully complying at all times with U.S. immigration law. Since then, he has followed his process in a responsible, transparent, and lawful manner, always trusting the legal system.

the day of his detention on December 16th 2025 , approximately eight ICE agents arrested him and took him into custody, despite the fact that there is no deportation order issued against him. This situation came as a complete shock to us, especially since he attended his immigration appointment approximately a year and a half ago and has been waiting for a response from USCIS ever since, with no decision issued to date. All of this has caused a profound emotional impact on our entire family.

My stepfather has no criminal record. The only issue on his record is a speeding ticket, which was properly paid, taking full responsibility for his actions.

He is an exemplary family man, a person with strong values, and is deeply loved by everyone who knows him. He is hardworking and responsible, currently holding two jobs, and everything he has achieved has been built through effort, honesty, and love for his family and friends.

He deeply loves his children and has always been a pillar of support for us. Today, his freedom and well-being are at risk, and we need help to cover legal expenses, attorney fees, and all costs necessary to defend his case and demonstrate his eligibility to remain legally in the United States.
