Padova Summer Mission Trip!

Hello All!
Over the past year, I have had the privilege to be a part of the Mercy Hill Church community, located in the Bay View Milwaukee area. As part of the church’s Missions Work, each summer, Mercy Hill sends a group of volunteers to Padova, Italy to serve alongside our brothers and sisters of the IFC Padova Church. Padova is a town about 20 minutes southwest of Venice in northern Italy.
This summer’s Mission Trip to Padova will be focused on providing a Vacation Bible School (VBS) to the children of ICF Padova and the surrounding community. We are also assessing having an English class, as a way to serve and reach out to the broader community.
As a school psychologist working in MPS, I have always loved working with children, helping them to develop their own awareness and interests. This summer 2018 Mission Trip is something I feel driven to partake in, continuing to work with school-aged children, partnering with ICF Padova, through Mercy Hill.
In order to fulfill this role, I am hoping to raise $2,400.00, which will cover the cost of airfare, housing, and one meal per day for the 10 days we’re there. If you would like to contribute to this mission, you may do so on this page in any amount you are able! I am so grateful for your support and prayers as we bring the story of Jesus and teachings of the Bible to the children of Padova.
