As many of you know, our dear friend Padma (aka Cynthia Vangolen) has just received the devastating news that she has Type B Lymphoma. She will undergo more testing this coming week, to determine which variation of type B it is, and then the Doctors will be able to advise on a treatment plan.
Although it is early on in Padma’s diagnosis, we do know that she will be facing at least a six month period of treatment and recovery, during which time she will be unable to work.
I am reaching out to ask if you could donate to Padma’s Wellness Fund, so that she may wholly focus on her healing, without the worry about how she will pay her rent or meet life’s varied financial needs and obligations.
Whether you have known Padma for a little or a long time, you will have experienced Padma’s presence of heart, and know how generously she shares her love, compassion and wisdom. She does not hesitate to lend a hand and heart when a friend is in need. May we so graciously give to her in this time, and support her journey back to health.
