This picture was taken on the first day back to in person school. Marine veteran Chris Paden made sure traffic was stopped so his kids and others can cross safely! After school, he was doing the same thing so his little one can cross safely to pick up her 2 older sisters from their first day of school. Unfortunately, he was hit by a car and the driver left the scene. There wasn’t a crossing guard present so he did what any father and good human being would, to insure everyone safely crosses the street. The car that hit him did not care about anyone’s well being. What makes this worse is, his middle child JUST walked out of her first day of school ready to tell her daddy about her day, and witness the whole tragedy. His youngest was right there with her too. The car dragged him and he is left with 2 broken legs, back and etc.
