Paddy's Whale Wish

Help Grant a Once-in-a-Lifetime Wish: Whale Watching in Scotland for Paddy. We’re reaching out to ask for your help in making a dream come true for a truly remarkable man. His lifelong wish has been to see Whales! and we’re hoping, with your support, we can give him this unforgettable experience. In June 2023, Paddy was diagnosed with a brain tumour that turned his world upside down. After months of treatment and recovery, he was given the all-clear in early 2024. We had hoped it was the end of the nightmare. However, by August 2024, he began experiencing distressing new symptoms. In December, we received the devastating news that his cancer had returned — and spread. He was diagnosed with stage 4 Glioblastoma, a highly aggressive brain tumour, which had infiltrated his central nervous system and brainstem. Now in a wheelchair, he is undergoing chemotherapy once again, as well as a specialised treatment called Oncothermia. Despite everything, he continues to fight with incredible courage, humour, and love for life. Throughout all of this, one dream has remained — to travel and witness the majesty of the whales in the wild. This trip would be more than just a getaway. It would be a powerful and emotional moment of joy and fulfillment for Paddy and his loved ones, creating memories to cherish no matter what lies ahead. We’re hoping to raise £1500 to cover travel, accommodation, accessibility needs, and the whale-watching experience itself. Every donation, no matter how small, brings us closer to this goal. The goal is to raise the money by July. Any money left over will go towards days out for paddy to enjoy time with his friends and family.
