Paddy Rock Pledge Drive 2019

For 19 years Paddy Rock has been bringing its fan around the world the very best in Celtic Rock & Punk. Over the past few years, we have expanded our offerings to bring some diversity to an ever-evolving crowd and musical landscape. Paddy Rock now hosts 3 unique shows including Paddy Rock Roots, which features American Roots and Rocksteady Tonight which features mostly Ska in addition to the flagship Paddy Rock Podcast which brings you the best Celtic Rock & Punk from around the world.

To say I work tirelessly to bring the listeners a unique and enjoyable listening experience every time is an understatement. When not embroiled in work or family matters, and even sometimes when I am music is on my brain. What’s new, what’s the latest and greatest and what can I do to make things better! Which brings me to my point.

The time has once again arrived for another Paddy Rock Pledge Drive.  2017 saw a very successful Pledge Drive and I was able to operate without having to do this last year, but sadly the coffers are running low again. And as much as I would like to tell you think get cheaper and easier in time, they do not. More bandwidth, more storage, more equipment, and more fans. 

That says to me that it’s time to do it again.

As is customary I try to bring some unique artwork to the fans and supporters of the show. Wanting to deviate from the usual skulls, roses, shamrocks that everyone does. I decided on an accordion playing crow believing this would embody all of the uniqueness of Paddy Rock delivers. Next year Paddy Rock celebrates 20 years and I am aiming for some big things.

And if all goes well I would like to send another donation to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention on behalf of Paddy Rock and all of the awesome caring people who support us. Mental Health and suicide continues to be a big problem. As we get older shit doesn't get easier and these are not feeling that simply go away. It is up to all of us to help by talking, by caring and by telling our own stories.
