Di Sampson for Paddy Paws Cat Rescue and Sanctuary
Donation protected
Paddy Paws Cat Rescue and Sanctuary (PPCR) is an unfunded rescue centre run by Di Sampson and her husband Bob.
We are both retired and our retirement funds are fast disappearing due to the continued experience of ever increasing running costs. We are seeking support from donors who wish to help towards funding our ongoing efforts.
All cats brought into our Rescue are accommodated within weather proofed cat shelters that have light, heating and radio. We believe it is essential the cats are warm and comfortable when in our care.
We rehome cats that are fit to be given a new forever home. All these cats are vet checked, neutered/spayed, and healthy. We undertake checks on new Owner location and their attitude to animals before we agree the rehome. We accept donations from the new Owners and those funds are immediately put back into a PPCR account for contributing towards Vet Fees, heating and lighting, cat litter, and feed (wet and dry foods) and other items usual for running this type of operation.
Our Sanctuary cats are senior with various ailment - lost eye, lost limb, dental issues, diabetes, and other medically treatable conditions that incur considerable varying cost.
Funds provided by donors will be very much welcomed as we wish to be in a position to be able to sustain our centre for as long as we possibly can. All funds raised will be placed into the PPCR account and used to pay for ongoing costs as described and outlined above.
