Paddy needs surgery following RTC

Hi we are the Viner family and we are looking to get some help for our beautiful Paddy. Today (Saturday 16th November 2024) our cat was involved in a RTA metres from our home in Grove, Wantage and left in the road fighting for his life. Luckily some lovely caring people passing by picked him up and took him to the nearest emergency vets. I then received the shocking call from the vets saying paddy had been hit by a car and is in a bad way and did we want them to go ahead with scans and X-rays to see what internal damage he had. After 4 hours of waiting we got the bad news that paddy has a fractured and displaced pelvis that will need surgery which will mean them putting pins in to fix the pelvis to his spine, next week once they have him stable enough for an anaesthetic. We have been quoted £1600 pound for the operation let alone aftercare. We have 2 young boys who a praying we get to bring him home. Understandably money is tight for everyone but we want to give paddy the best chance. If you feel you would like to contribute in helping with paddy’s enormous vet bill we would be forever grateful and so will paddy!
