Hello! I'm fundraising on behalf of my nephew Paddy, who was in a very serious snowboarding accident on Big White Ski Resort in Kelowna, British Columbia on April 5th, resulting in multiple severe injuries.

Some of these injuries are, but not limited to;

-Spinal fractures in 8 different places

-Surgical intervention needed to fix nerve damage caused by bone fragments in his spinal fracture

-Fractured scapula (shoulder blade) and breastbone.

-Collapsed lungs. (Upon the accident, both of his lungs were collapsed needing immediate emergency care.)

Since the accident, Paddy was hospitalized and has received intensive treatment for the last three weeks before he was moved to a hospital in Vancouver.

This included surgical procedures, respiratory support, pain management, and rehabilitative care to begin the recovery process from these extensive injuries.

Paddy is a 26 year old Irish guy living in Vancouver whose family are all back in Ireland. He will be out of work for the foreseeable and as you can imagine, as well as rent, the hospital bills are piling up.

To help Paddy concentrate on his recovery, we his family would greatly appreciate anyone who is willing to donate, big or small, to ease even some of this financial strain. Thank you.
