Paddling North - The Inside Passage

Leonie Mahlke (biologist and conservationist) and Rebecca Grim (adventurer and outdoor advocate) are kayaking the Inside Passage from Salt Spring Island, B.C. to Glacier Bay, Alaska. This four month expedition will begin May 2018 and covers over 1,300 nautical miles.

Our plan is to connect with women who live and work on the coast, to create a documentary film. We hope to raise awareness of environmental injustices affecting ecosystems, wildlife and coastal communities through the eyes of women of the Inside Passage.

The funds raised  will go directly to the purchase of filming and recording equipment, which will be essential  to create our film.

Thank you for your support!
