On Wednesday, 8th of October, our family received the phone call no mother, father, sister, or family member ever wants to get.

Our crazy, surf-loving, energetic brother Caleb — full of life, laughter, and spirit — was rushed to hospital, unresponsive and in critical condition.

Caleb suffered a medical event that has left him critically unwell. He has been in ICU, intubated and unconscious, fighting hard surrounded by incredible medical teams.

As soon as we received the news, Caleb’s mum, dad, and grandfather did everything they could to get from Townsville to the Gold Coast to be by his side. They continue to stay close to him through every moment, facing an uncertain and emotional road ahead as Caleb begins his long journey toward recovery.

Caleb is based on the Gold Coast, far from home, and while he continues his fight in hospital, he still has bills and responsibilities that won’t wait. Our family, now staying in the Gold Coast to support him, have had to put their lives and work on hold to remain by his side.

We’ve created this page to help ease some of the financial pressure during this incredibly difficult time.
