Hello. We are reaching out to ask for your help. PacMan is a young pit bull that was found alone, injured, severely malnourished and dehydrated in an abandoned camper in Kellogg on the night of December 30th. Due to the severity of his issues, he had to be transported to an emergency vet clinic for an entire weekend. He has since been returned to the Silver Valley to continue receiving care through Shoshone Pet Rescue.

At this time we do know that he has a broken and infected leg that may have to be amputated depending on the results of further evaluation and care. His vet bills are costing the shelter thousands of dollars, but they are committed to doing everything they can to save his life and give him a bright future.

Looking ahead PacMan is going to need a foster home where he can recover and have his recovery needs met. We do not know how extensive those needs will be, but will keep everyone updated as we know more.

If you can help cover the cost of PacMan’s vet bills or are interested in fostering, please donate or reach out for further information. Foster home applications can be found at www.shoshone-pet-rescue.org and can be emailed to [email redacted]. Any funds received above and beyond PacMan’s vet bills will be applied to the ongoing care of the other animals at the shelter.

Thank you for any and all support you can provide. You are truly helping give PacMan a second chance at life, and he deserves it.
