From Australia to L.A.: Rebuilding after the Palisades Fire

My name is Ruth Hiller, from Boulder, Colorado. My dear friends Maria and Joel House, along with their two young daughters, Avery and Alaya, lost everything in the devastating Palisades fire. I've had the privilege of traveling the world with them, sharing countless memories that made them feel more like family than friends.
