Dear Friends & Family,
This is an appeal for your support with "Operation Pacemaker" for our Mom, Rev. Elma Holness.
She is currently in the hospital in St. Kitts with an urgent need of a pacemaker surgery. The doctors have diagnosed her heart condition as extremely dangerous, and have said that leaving the hospital without this procedure will likely prove fatal.
Between ourselves (immediately family) and her insurance will we can cover the cost of the operation - Approximately 2Million JMD ($13000 USD).

However, the operation is not done in St. Kitts, where she now resides. Her doctors have stated that commercial travel is absolutely out of the question for her due to the current state of her heart and that she can only travel via an air ambulance. Unfortunately her insurance package does not cover the required air ambulance costs, which is turning out to be a whopping $35,000.00 US. That is why we are currently reaching out to everyone for help.
As many of you may know, Mom is a very spiritual person who has spent much of her life serving the poor and downtrodden through her job with the Poor Relief Department of the Parish Council in Hanover, Jamaica. What many of you may not know though, is that her philanthropic activities extended far beyond her job. Both her and Dad have given a lot to the communities in which they lived and served as ministers of religion, personally taking care of other senior citizens who were forgotten. They ensured that many were fed, clothed and cared for when these persons had no other assistance forthcoming.

In addition to serving the communities in which they have lived, Mom and Dad have also collectively given more than a hundred years of service to the Wesleyan Holiness Church, WITHOUT ASKING ANYTHING IN RETURN.
So on her behalf we are now asking. Please help us to cover the cost of the air ambulance services which will transport her from St. Kitts to the Heart Institute in Kingston, Jamaica where she will receive this urgently needed surgery.
Thanks in advance for your generous assistance.
Best regards.
