Our sweet boy Pablo is suffering a herniated disc and needs emergency surgery. Jon arrived home last night and found him unable to get up/walk and in great distress. He was rushed to the Emergency Vet where we discovered he is paralyzed in his hind legs due to the disc compressing on his spinal cord and that surgery was his only option for a recovery.

Between all the tests, the MRI, the surgery and aftercare we are looking at a $5,500 to $6,500 vet bill. Because Pablo was very healthy and happy we are completely caught off guard by all this and we are devastated. We know the vet bill is a small (and fair) price to pay for a few more years with our precious Pablo but the cost is a huge financial strain on us.

We are asking for help in the form of prayers and if you are able- financial donations as well. Anything helps.

I know Pablo has touched many lives and that he is adored by so many of you, so I know all his pals will completely understand our decision to pursue surgery and recovery.
