Dear family and friends,
First of all, THANK YOU from all the Rivas family for supporting us in prayer for our brother Pablo, the love and care you all have shown us have been key to keep believing that the best is yet to come!
Pablo has been on a long journey battling and believing for a miracle. A few years ago, Pablo was blessed to receive a kidney transplant. This was an answer to prayer and a new challenge to keep his body from rejecting the kidney. As you know, most transplants require medication to suppress the immune system to keep it from attacking the transplanted organ. This process was exhausting, physically draining for Pablo. His body would later reject the kidney and cause him much pain and harm to his physical well being.
On December 29, 2017 Pablo experienced renal failure, his kidney transplant gave out and he started dialysis. After that, he developed chronic rejection and the kidney had to be removed. The kidney was removed and he has been dealing with infections and complications since then. Pablo was sent home one week ago with a drain in his abdomen.
Our brother Pablo is in a long road to recovery but Our God is for him! Since Pablo was admitted into the hospital for three months, him and his precious wife Gina have exhausted their finances and that is why we are reaching out to you all, to humbly ask to go the extra mile with us to help them out to get back on their feet after his prolonged stay at the hospital. As you can imagine, the medical bills and medical care are piling up, and of course, the current follow up appointments.
Thank you in advance for your giving heart, whatever you consider giving is more than enough!
Much love from all of us,
THE RIVAS FAMILY
