Hello friends and family, as some of you may be aware, my father is currently hospitalized. On Thursday evening, my father experienced respiratory distress, prompting me to seek immediate medical attention at the emergency room. Subsequently, he was airlifted to Rapid City, where medical professionals informed us that he is in heart failure, diagnosed with rhinovirus and pneumonia, and has been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit. For the past four nights, he has remained in the ICU. Although progress has been made, considerable time will be required for his recovery and clearance to return home, as additional tests are necessary and he continues to battle pneumonia. In light of this, I am reaching out to friends and family for help with travel expenses and hotels accommodation, as we are required to travel three hours each way. My brother Bobby/sister in-law and I/my mother have been alternating our presence with our father in Rapid City. We appreciate any support you can provide during this challenging time.
