I’m reaching out to you because I started a GoFundMe for financial help to pay the the household bills. As many of you know, Pablo was the breadwinner in the family, and I am disabled. I have no income, there is no savings, and Pablo has no life insurance. Upon Pablo’s death, his brother, Daniel, generously paid the funeral costs.
I have applied for survivor benefits and indemnity compensation for my daughter and I, should we qualify. It may take two months or more to process, once they determine eligibility. In the meantime, I am also in the process of filling out AER paperwork to see if they will be able to help.
I hate asking for help, but like it or not, the bills will be coming in and will need to either be paid or they will be in default. I wouldn’t ask for help, except that my daughter and I need the help.
