To support Pablo, TrackVia has agreed to match $2,500 in contributions from donations received through this fundraiser. Please share Pablo's story with coworkers, family, and friends and join us in helping a deserving, hard-working family get back on their feet.
Pablo's house was located near the Comalapa River. During the overnight rain, the river overflowed and a mudslide washed away his house and everything inside it. Thankfully, Pablo heard the noise and was able to escape both himself and his father out of harm's way before the disaster hit. Unfortunately, this event has caused casualties and left dozens in a similar situation as Pablo's family.
Here are some photos from a video Pablo shared during a walkthrough of his home:
His bedroom, home office, kitchen, bathroom, and everything inside their home is covered in mud. Most if not all of his electronic equipment will need to be replaced. They estimate saving only about 10% of personal belongings.
Pablo and his family will essentially be starting over. With the support of TrackVia and friends, we can make that feel less overwhelming for them.
Thank you for your support in helping Pablo!
