A few months ago, our world shattered. We were told what no parent should ever hear: Pablito has a fast-growing, malignant brain tumor—one that can’t be operated on. Despite intense treatments, his condition keeps worsening. He’s endured chemotherapy, radiation, severe hydrocephalus, and most recently, a meningitis episode that sent him back to intensive care.

Yet somehow, he still fights.

But hope through conventional treatment is fading. That’s why we’ve made the heartbreaking decision to seek a clinical trial abroad—one that might offer Pablito a real chance to survive.

Imagina tener 5 años y que tu mayor lucha no sea aprender a manejar bicicleta, sino sobrevivir.

Pablito es ese niño. Un pequeño lleno de luz, de fe, de una fuerza que desarma a cualquiera que lo conoce. Su risa sigue sonando en medio del dolor. Su mirada, a pesar del cansancio, aún brilla con esperanza.

Hace unos meses, nuestra vida se detuvo. Recibimos la noticia que ningún padre debería escuchar jamás: Pablito tiene un tumor cerebral maligno, agresivo e inoperable. A pesar de los tratamientos, su condición se complica. Su cuerpecito ha resistido quimioterapias, radiación, hidrocefalia y más recientemente, una meningitis que lo llevó nuevamente a cuidados intensivos. Y sin embargo… él no se rinde.

Cada día, Pablito nos enseña qué significa realmente ser valiente. Su espíritu no ha sido vencido. Nos sigue diciendo con sus ojitos: “quiero vivir”.

Pero la verdad es que ya no podemos confiar solo en los tratamientos tradicionales. Por eso, con el corazón en la mano, tomamos la decisión de buscar una esperanza en el extranjero, a través de ensayos clínicos que podrían salvarle la vida.

Necesitamos ayuda. No solo económica. Necesitamos que creas con nosotros. Que compartas esta historia. Que te unas a esta batalla que no debería pelear un niño tan pequeño, pero que él está enfrentando con el corazón más grande del mundo.

Nuestra hija mayor, María Belén, también es una sobreviviente. Nació prematura, con solo 780 gramos, y venció cirugías al corazón y complicaciones visuales. Ambos, nuestros hijos, son prueba de que los milagros existen… pero a veces, necesitan una comunidad para lograrse.
