Pabel's Pennies!

Our Christian men's group has been moved by Pabel and his family. He has a tremendous influence on our lives and the many more he teaches. We need raise $10,000 to extend his visa to keep him with us!

"Hi Everyone,

My name is Pabel Vivanco, I am currently a 4th grade math teacher at SFS. I was born in Peru! And I have been living in the US for about 10 years. My story has been mark by God’s grace. He met me in a powerful way when I was still a college student at the University of Oklahoma. Although I have an undergrad and a master degree in Public Administration from OU (the University of Oklahoma) I was compelled to serve my community as elementary teacher at an inner city charter school in the south side of OKC!

At first it was very challenging but I have learned to love my work in many that goes beyond just the classroom. Everyday I am reminded by the amazing opportunity that I have to speak into kids identity. Of course my main focus in math but so many of them have really hard time at home and are in need of a positive adult role models.

Well, unfortunately my visa expires relatively soon and I need to collect 10,000 US dollars. My wife and I both don’t have any family members in the US. I have save up about 1 third of that amount but we need help to cross the finish line.

Every dollar donated will get us close to secure a legal way to continue to pour our hearts to improve the education and the lives of kids in Oklahoma.
