Big Papa

My name is Caragh and I am fundraising for one of my best pals in the world, Big Papa and his family, The Ballock’s.

my guy Papa didn’t start out on the easiest path. He was found wandering the streets of Chicago and was in pretty bad shape. One More Dog Rescue got him the medical care he needed, including surgery for his club feet. Jen knew the minute she saw his pic he was coming home with her to get all the love his heart could stand. He walks a little wonky and loves to give love bites when you’re not looking but you will NEVER find a dog w a sweeter soul than this guy.

I really do want to focus on Jen and what she does for dogs and humans and why she and her family are so deserving of this help. She currently has 4 rescue dogs and has rescued more dogs in her lifetime than we were even able to count. She runs a rescue workout for dogs every year on her birthday and even makes tshirts to sell to raise more funds. She is the type of person to walk naked in a blizzard so you weren’t cold and now she needs the assist. She coaches girls lacrosse and invests her time into building teens with a strong sense of self esteem and self love! She would never in a million years ask for the help, which is why it’s even more deserved, so I’m here to ask for help with Papas surgery. This week he was getting very sick. Saturday he went to the ER where they found a toy he had eaten lodged in his intestines. He needed emergency surgery and thankfully made it through with flying colors. Unfortunately the vet doesn’t have overnight monitoring so he needed to be transferred to a facility that does. The bills are really racking up and with three beautiful kids about to start school and a dogpound of her own this is a costly and unexpected event.

I know for a fact Jen would spend her last dollar to help a dog and I’m hoping to prove to her here that all that love and kindness she shows the world can come back to her.
